Charmer's effect only accurate in certain situation, so we can't counting on Charmer very much, that's why they didn't got enough respect.
I think this is a problem for Charmer's fans.
KONAMI should make support cards for Charmers!
lol, Seriously, There is a website called yugiohcardmarker.net, I know someone who made a field spell called 'Charmer's Temple' that increased their Attack and Defense, I know I made a Supreme Charmer that prevented other charmer's from being destroyed XD.
His appearance is like the charmer, he's really looks like Dharc the dark charmer
Maybe KONAMI make that card as an alternate version of Familiar-Possessed - Dharc.
Use with Magical Exemplar and you'll easily Synchro Summon Tempest Magician xD
You also need to protect your charmers for being destroyed, so it maybe useful if you put Scrap Iron Scarecrow x3 in your Charmer Deck
Yah, it'll be fun if people who use overpowered monster in his/her deck being defeated by person who use Charmer deck
